Frequently Asked Questions

Is all your work handmade?

Yes! All the ceramic pieces you see here or in person are 100% handmade by me. I started working with clay back in 2018 and I haven’t been able to stop. Since I’m a one-woman operation, it can be a slow process to get a sizable amount of work done, but I enjoy every minute of it!

Is the pottery dishwasher and/or microwave safe?

In short, yes. You can put your new mug or dish in the dishwasher and microwave, but I’d recommend doing so sparingly. Your piece will last longer if hand washed - dishwashers aren’t gentle and the less water that soaks into your dish, the better.

Your online store is empty, where can I buy your work?

Currently, I have work for purchase in a couple of amazing stores in WNC.

If you’re in Asheville, visit Nest Organics on Lexington Ave - they have so many gorgeous things there for your home.

Just a short drive into Mars Hill, about 20 minutes from Asheville, The Quill + Honey hosts the work of a wonderful group of local artisans right on Main Street.

Follow my social media accounts for updates, or join my mailing list, on local markets I’ll be joining throughout the year and when I will updating my online store!

Where is your studio?

I volunteered for five years in the ceramics department at a local community college in Asheville, NC. During that time, I’ve been working with my husband and dad to get a home studio up and running so I could have my own space. I’ve slowly gotten my own equipment, a gorgeous electric kiln and a sturdy wheel, and we’ve been building a space from the ground up just outside of Weaverville, NC. At the moment, I have enough workable space to create solely from home! We still have one more side of the building to finish, but it should be done by the end of 2023!
